Men today are caught in a tug-of-war between outdated stereotypes and a future that hasn’t been fully defined. For a long time, I tried to force myself into molds that never really fit — as a husband, a father, a professional, even just as a man. It took me years of trial, error, and a whole lot of therapy to realize that the story we’ve been handed about masculinity isn’t the only one we can live by.

The truth is simple: the old armor no longer fits. Beyond the myths, we discover strength in authenticity, growth, and connection.

Men Beyond Myths was born out of that realization. This is a space to rethink what it means to show up as a man in the modern world — in our relationships, our families, our workplaces, and most importantly, in how we relate to ourselves.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Honest reflections on growth, identity, and authenticity.
  • Stories about stumbling, screwing up, and finding a way forward.
  • Ideas drawn from therapy, philosophy, books, and lived experience.
  • Practical ways to become not just “better men,” but better humans.

This isn’t about tearing men down. It’s about moving beyond clichés — the stoic provider, the emotionless rock, the lone wolf — and exploring the qualities that actually make us strong: empathy, integrity, accountability, courage, creativity, and connection.

I don’t have all the answers. I’m not a therapist, not a professor, not a guru. I’m a guy who’s lived through some hard lessons and is still figuring things out. What I do have is a deep belief that authenticity and growth are worth the struggle, and that sharing our stories can make the road a little less lonely.

So if you’re tired of shallow advice about “real men” and want conversations that are honest, challenging, and human — welcome. You’re in the right place.
